Building a Healthy Tasmania
Watch the recording now.
On 16 October 2024, we were joined the Department of Health in Tasmania and Derwent Valley Council for this webinar where we showcased Healthy Tasmania, the Tasmanian Government’s plan for preventive health. To support the partnership between communities, services and government, Seer Data has built a comprehensive platform for data access, data analysis and decision-making that is tailored to meet the diverse needs of different communities in Tasmania.
The platform is being piloted with communities receiving the Healthy Together grant and aims to enable a community-led, data-driven approach that is essential for the successful implementation of the Healthy Tasmania Strategy.
Healthy Tasmania’s vision is for all Tasmanians to have the opportunity to live healthy, active lives in communities that support connections to people, place and culture.
This webinar is the first of a two-part series. We will uncover how the early stages of this innovative journey have progressed towards community engagement and storytelling, as well as how to turn these lessons into action for any other collaborative initiative. The second webinar in early 2025 will examine the continued growth of Healthy Together communities.
Hear about how Seer Data and Healthy Tasmania are working towards enabling the Healthy Together communities to:
- Deliver data-driven community health initiatives
- Promote community-led decision making
- Build data capacity
