I’m pleased to provide an update on three of the latest co-developed solutions from Seer Data.
The Cohort Lens, Monitoring & Reporting solution, and Seer Data Design Space are designed to revolutionise data collaboration, accountability and policy innovation, and empower of organisations to drive real, impactful change.
The many conversations with customers, partners and others in our network – from the highest levels of government all the way to grassroots community groups – continue to fuel the Seer Data platform’s growth as always.
Cohort lens
The Gender Impact Assessment Tool, developed by Seer Data for Tasmania’s women’s strategy, is designed to help policymakers and service delivery owners apply a gender lens to their work. This interactive, user-friendly tool enhances budgeting and policy-making by leveraging gender-specific data and insights. It features a new “view and interact” end-user type and allows for the capture of interactions and responses via forms, which are collected internally to support best practices, knowledge sharing and collaboration. By making gender lens data accessible, the instructional tool aims to unlock policy innovation and helps enact meaningful changes in policy design and delivery that will improve outcomes for citizens, particularly women and families.
We’re excited that this interactive tool can now be applied across different cohorts, with many use cases already arising across governments, peak bodies and large Not-for-profits.
Monitoring & Reporting
The Keeping Children Safe Monitoring & Reporting solution (publicly available here) enhances accountability for the Tasmanian government’s commitments, actions, and responses to the Commission of Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings in Tasmania. Seer Data’s centralised system ensures regular data uploads and timely reporting across responsible agencies in Tasmania, enabling transparent and easily accessible reporting to the community.

The Seer Data Design Space has arisen out of custom design work completed for amazing initiatives like Wonnarua Nation Aboriginal Corporation’s Ka-Wuma map. The Ka-Wuma Gap Closer map (available publicly here) aims to close the gap of disadvantage for all Indigenous people in Wonnarua Nation.
