The Seer Data platform has been updated to include new features and improvements designed to improve usability of the data collection, analysis and sharing tools.
Data collection:
- Self-service Data Collection (SSDC) pane freeze: While using SSDC tables, users will now be able to freeze the first column and continue to scroll through their table to enter data. This will benefit users inputting data into larger data tables across longer timeframes.
- Field validation for URL uploads: Adding validations can help control the quality of your data. For example, you can validate whether there are unwanted values or incorrect data types in the uploaded file by setting the expected values for each column. If errors are flagged against your validation(s) upon clicking upload, you can edit your file accordingly before uploading again.
Analysis:
- Users can specify how to treat null and NaN in charts: When working with datasets that contain missing values, users can now choose to set a fallback value for missing data. This means that calculations will no longer contain errors when attempting to calculate a missing value. Access our Knowledge Base article here.
Sharing:
- Download insights from Dashboard: Any person viewing a Dashboard can now download the displayed Insights directly from the Dashboard. This will benefit those who need to analyse the Insight without necessarily using the Explore Data or Suitcase tools. Access our Knowledge Base article here.
