SA1
Statistical Areas Level 1 (SA1) are geographical areas determined by the Australian Government and are generally the smallest Statistical Areas for data exploration for the likes of ABS or Census data collections. SA1s aggregate to form Statistical Areas Level 2 (SA2).
SA2
Statistical Areas Level 2 (SA2) are geographical areas determined by the Australian Government and are generally the size by population of a traditional suburb. Statistical Areas for data exploration for the likes of ABS or Census data collections. Seer data collections frequently offer exploration at this granular level. SA2s aggregate to for Statistical Areas Level 3 (SA3).
SA3
Statistical Areas Level 3 (SA3) are geographical areas determined by the Australian Government and are generally the size by population of a traditional region. Statistical Areas for data exploration for the likes of ABS or Census data collections. SA3s aggregate to for Statistical Areas Level 4 (SA4).
SA4
Statistical Areas Level 4 (SA4) are geographical areas determined by the Australian Government and are most commonly seen when dealing with the likes of Greater Capital City regions.
