2024 was a transformative year for Seer Data, marked by growth, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to empowering communities.
At the heart of our journey was trust—a foundation we’ve built by listening, learning, and co-designing with the communities we serve.

More than one third of the organisations we work with are First Nations-led organisations. Designing for First Nations Data Sovereignty needs, we’ve integrated a flexible data governance model and data access and sharing technologies in our design approach, which respects and adapts to different models of First Nations Data Governance and Sovereignty frameworks.
By prioritising flexibility and culture, we’re proud we’re a trusted partner to empower First Nations organisations to harness data to drive change. In 2024, Alister Ferguson, Founder and Executive Director of Maranguka, joined our board of directors to support us to continue to innovate and support this work.
Government agencies in Tasmania and nationally, alongside major financial services providers like Perpetual and Future Generation Global, continued to work with us and rely on Seer Data to connect communities with government held, restricted data assets. As data technology platform, we often find we are acting as an intermediary supporting trust building between government and community organisations or grantmakers and not-for-profits. One of our core values is to be in service to our customers and to problem solve with our technology and services. I’m immensely proud of the way we work. It underpins how we have come to this place to support better, collaborative decision-making across complex systems.
Our work in 2024 wasn’t just about community data sharing—it was about measuring impact, fostering transparency, and creating collective accountability. By enabling communities, organisations, and stakeholders to monitor, report, and align their commitments, we’ve supported governments, philanthropic funders and their community partners to foster greater unity and a shared sense of purpose.
Looking Ahead to 2025: Introducing Seer 3.0
In 2025, we’re building on the foundations of trust and impact we established over the 6 years we’ve been operating with the launch of Seer 3.0. Right now, we’re raising capital to build on our platform that will be a huge game-changer for private and public organisations, designed to revolutionise how they monitor, track, measure and report on social impact.
Seer 3.0 will give organisations the ability to evaluate and report on their commitments across diverse contexts, ensuring they meet compliance requirements while demonstrating meaningful social outcomes. It’s not just a tool—it’s a comprehensive enterprise platform that connects data from the source directly to decision-making processes. By empowering users to measure the real-world impact of their initiatives, Seer 3.0 fosters transparency, builds accountability, and strengthens trust to result in better outcomes.

One of the standout features of Seer 3.0 is its ability to catalogue all organisational commitments and link the outcomes data to those commitments. Seer 3.0 simplifies complex challenges into measurable outcomes.
Use of AI will be a big part of our product development. Seer 3.0 will let users apply AI for intelligent report and narrative generation, advanced data analysis, management of commitment catalogues and alignment of commitments to social impact data.
The Seer 3.0 platform will equip users to navigate an increasingly demanding compliance and reporting landscape. From tracking regulatory requirements in the social space to meeting reporting standards, Seer 3.0 ensures organisations remain accountable while maintaining and understanding of their commitments and impact to report to communities, investors, and partners.
As we look ahead, Seer 3.0 represents our commitment to innovation and impact. We’re excited to partner with more organisations in 2025 to drive progress, improve governance, and create a future where social outcomes are not only measurable but truly transformative. Together, we’ll continue building a world where data is a catalyst for trust, unity, and purpose.
